The name comes from my time living in London, UK. Claxton Grove was actually the name of the street I lived on, in a Victorian-era house in West London. I always liked the name and it felt fitting for the botanical-inspired line I dreamt up whilst living there. The name is a fond tribute to a wonderful time in my life, exploring the parks, gardens, and history the city and surrounding countryside had to offer.
Where do you get all your flowers?
All over! I have a garden where I grow several flowers, and some are procured from my mum's garden or the garden's of friends. I ethically collect flowers and plants for pressing whenever possible. I also source more certain flower varieties from local florists.
Do you press all the flowers yourself?
Yes, I do indeed!
From March to October, I typically have 8-12 flower presses on the go at once (Though, that number seems to increase all the time as my business grows!)
