Learn the traditional practice of flower pressing with the founder of Claxton Grove.

Lauren will go through a quick demonstration, including tips and tricks on how to press different types of flowers (including those tricky ones), before diving in and pressing at variety of flowers on your own!

Flowers, pressing materials, and a handout will be included.

Create your own pressed flower art piece and/or greeting cards!

Lauren will discuss practical and composition considerations when creating pressed flower art, setting the stage for you to then create your own piece(s).

Bring flowers you've pressed yourself or use those provided by Lauren.

All materials will be provided for you to create a framable art piece or greeting cards.

Adorn a special photo*, memory, or poem with pressed flowers.

You will arrange your keepsake will be embellished by pressed flowers and then encased in glass to be hung or displayed. Special attention will be paid to flower symbolism to enhance your piece.

All materials will be provided, with an opportunity for you to purchase extra pressed flowers or bring your own.

*I suggest bringing a copy of a photo or special piece if you're concerned with the original fading or being damaged in any way.
