Welcome to Claxton Grove, your haven for thoughtfully curated pressed flower art prints and botanical treasures. Handcrafted by designer Lauren Wells in a cozy studio nestled in the heart of Vancouver, BC, her work reflects care and appreciation, capturing the timeless beauty of nature and flowers.

What was once simply an outlet for designer Lauren Wells' deep love of flowers and desire to preserve their fleeting beauty, has grown to include art prints, greeting cards, jewelry, and stained glass wall hangings and ornaments.

The original love and care Claxton Grove was founded upon are still evident today. The stained glass wall hangings and jewelry pieces are crafted by hand using real flowers Lauren collects and presses herself. Each art print and greeting card is a high-quality reproduction of Lauren's original herbarium-inspired artwork. Flower symbolism, along with an appreciation for bygone eras and charming spaces, help shape each piece.

Hi, I'm Lauren.

I am a maker, artist, and vintage enthusiast based out of Vancouver, BC. Flowers have always held a special place in my heart, inspiring my passion for pressed flower art and botanical design. When I'm not creating, you can find me exploring the forests of Vancouver, scouring thrift shops for hidden treasures, or tending to my garden. Born in Vancouver and influenced by my time living in the UK, I draw inspiration from both the natural landscapes and vintage charm of present and past surroundings.

Claxton Grove is based on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlil̓wətaʔɬ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.

It's important that I acknowledge and give thanks to this land on which I have been fortunate enough to live and work, and to the indigenous people who have cared for it since time immemorial. I strive to be respectful inhabitant; collecting plants & flowers ethically and giving more back to the land than I receive.
